Railroad Spike Details:
We source our railroad spikes from a steel forge just outside of Chicago. They are the same railroad spikes that are used on the CTA and Metra rails and if we weren't using them, they'd be holding down tracks! Your railroad spike will be stamped on the head with a few details: HC or MC, which is the carbon content of the steel (high or medium), the batch in which they were crafted and the time of day that occurred.
